This is a thermoformed unibody carbon fiber paddle with a foam-injected perimeter.  It has great spin, great control, feels solid in your hands, and has a good sweet spot.  This is a great paddle to get for almost any player and if you can’t make up your mind I’d suggest this one.

  • Paddle Weight: 8.1oz AVG
  • Paddle Length: 16.3”
  • Paddle Width: 7.5-7.7”
  • Grip Length: 5.5”
  • Grip Circumference: 4.25”
  • Surface: T700 Raw Carbon Fiber
  • Core: 16mm
  • Swing Weight:114
  • Twist Weight:6.64

The Six Zero Double Black Diamond 16mm tops many players’ best paddle list, and it made my top 3 even with all the great options entering the market in 2024.

This is a paddle I would recommend to anyone who wants a premium paddle but isn’t sure what specifically they want because it is just a great all-court paddle that will help you grow your game no matter your play style.

It is a jack-of-all trades paddle because it doesn’t excel in any one area but is just good all-around in every area.  It has enough room on the handle at 5.5” for two-handed backhands.  There is a reason it is a top seller and that is because it fits such a wide variety of people.  It feels fast in your hands, has enough power and pop to put the ball away, great spin, a high twist weight (width of the sweet spot) and overall great control.

If you want to have a  paddle that can just do everything then this is it.  It even made my top 5 control paddle list because of how great it is in sweet spot, spin and placing the ball. I also like that Six Zero continues to come out with new designs for the Double Black Diamond which lets you stay with it as your main paddle but keep the look fresh.

There’s a lot of clutter and garbage on the internet, so why would you trust us?

Well, because we don’t sell paddles. We get paid a small cut when you use our discount code so it’s a win-win and we can be unbiased in our recommendations.

Furthermore, we only recommend paddles that we have personally tested. We use each paddle for a minimum of 3 weeks and try to collect and present the most objective review possible.

Sure…we give our thoughts, but we also want to give you, the reader, all the information to form your own opinion.
